Larryne Melh is a UK-based Cameroonian-born Finnish Afro-pop/dance artist.
She is a singer, songwriter and performer. Larryne was born in Limbe, in the south west part of Cameroon.
Her passion for singing, songwriting and performing began at a very early age.
In 2008, Larryne Melh moved to Finland to further her education in mechanical engineering. Whilst in Finland, Melh released her debut single “Just Kossa” in 2014 and followed up with another single titled “Sugar Coated Love”.
Larryne Melh moved to the UK in 2017 after having her Msc. in Mechanical Engineering with distinction. She released her 3rd single titled “ReLoved” in 2020.
Her latest single “Still Love You” is out and available on all digital platforms. “Still Love You” illustrates how her passion and love for music keeps growing stronger even with all the hurdles she has encountered so far in her musical journey.
She currently works full time as a design engineer while still pursuing her dream in music. She hopes that her music will gain a global audience and that her struggles and music will inspire people.
Awards: Larryne has won two awards so far. She won the “Best New Afrobeat Artist” title in the Afrobeat Cult Award in Finland in 2014 and won the best Afropop artist at the Cameroonian Diaspora Music Awards in 2018 in the UK.
