Evangelist Ben Awabi is one of the most renowned Cameroonian gospel music ministers blessing lives across the Nation of Cameroon with anointed songs. He is both a music minister and songwriter from the South West Region of Cameroon presently based in Douala, Littoral region of Cameroon.

This great minister of God encountered Jesus Christ in 1999 at Limbe after being preached to by a woman of God known as Evangelist Sophia. He had been a fervent businessman trading corn and groundnuts and involved with diverse businesses before the work of the ministry took more of his time and focus.

He started off by serving God under The Church Of God ministries. There, he joined the choir from 1999 to 2006. He later moved on to a Bible school called Cameroon Bible Training Center for three Years and continued at Global Focus Bible College Cameroon, Africa where He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in ministry.

Evangelist Ben Awabi released His first gospel music album in 2004 titled, “Oroko Praise Volume One”.  This album was played by more than 90% of Cameroon’s total population, both in rural and urban areas. His songs are a constant hit in rural radio stations for close to a decade today. He then released the “Oroko Praise Volume Two” in 2007.

His music attracts people of all age groups and provokes a deep dependency on God and a trust in God’s faithfulness. He is a cherished minister wanted at concerts, crusades, outreach programs etc . His music ministry is known for blessing lives and creating an atmosphere for genuine worship and praise.His songs are greatly used during ministrations, worship and praise sessions across the Nation, especially songs like, “Change My Story”.

This dynamic minister has also received diverse gospel music awards and has ministered with other great music ministers on platforms in and out of Cameroon.. He was present in Benin For The Christ Crusade organized by Liberty Ministry in 2015.

He has eight solid gospel music albums with different powerful messages from the throne room of God. His latest single was released in 2019 titled ‘Wonderful God’. This song expresses the greatness of God in all ramification. His main goal in the music ministry is soul winning and discipleship. Evangelist Ben is indeed an undeniable force of transformation in Cameroon’s music industry.

He is also a preacher of the word, the Founder of Believers Outreach Ministries popularly known as BOM. Evangelist Ben is happily married to another great Cameroonian music minister called Awabi Felicia and they are blessed with six children; five boys and one girl.
