Clinton Walter ATCHOUNGA, professionally known as Wal-T, is a Cameroonian pop artist born on May 17, 2001, in Bafia, Cameroon. Originally from the West Region of Cameroon, he grew up in Yaoundé, where he developed a passion for music from an early age. After completing his primary and secondary education in Yaoundé, he earned his GCE Advanced Level certificate before pursuing a one-year training program in graphic design and visual communication.

Wal-T began his musical journey with confidence and determination, exploring a wide range of genres including Afrobeats, R&B, world music, and hip-hop. His musical influences are diverse, drawing inspiration from artists such as B Young, Omah Lay, Tayc, Jey Brownie, Rema, Singuila, and Genezio.

As a songwriter, Wal-T draws inspiration from contemporary life, transforming everyday experiences into stories told with sincerity, depth, and at times, humor. His music blends rich melodies, multilingual lyrics in French, English, and Medumba, and vibrant rhythms that reflect both his African heritage and artistic creativity.
