Standard Liege Bids Farewell To Cameroonian Footballer Fai Collins

Belgian football club Standard Liege bids farewell to Cameroon international Collins Ngoran Fai.

Saudi Arabian football club Al-Taï will be paying for the services of the 29 year old native from Nso in the Northwest Region. The club announced on Saturday their ownership of the left back in a deal stated to be worth €300.000.

Collins Fai’s former club Standard Liege also confirmed the move of the former FC Bamenda man. They shared a video on their Instagram with the caption “Thank You Uncle”. His new club Al_Tai FC congratulated the left back for reaching the semi finals of the AFCON2021 via twitter.

Fai joined Standard Liege in the 2015/2016 season making 162 appearances, scoring 4 goals and providing 22 assists. He won 2 Belgian cups in the 2016 and 2018 seasons.

Presently at the Semi Finals of the 33rd edition of the African Cup of Nations, Fai Collins hope to lay his hands on the prestigious trophy for the 2nd time after doing so in 2017 in Gabon.
