After thrilling fans with a rich discography carrying singles such as Dodokido, Mon Bébé, Big Dreams, Yélé and Dix Ans, Cameroonian singer ASABA blasts off with debut EP “LIGHTER” which she released on August 5th 2022 via Starfish Entertainment.

“I have had so many dark moments in my life. It is true they were not predesigned but most of them happened as a result of my fears.” I was afraid to confront my true emotions, afraid to confront the truth about myself and the people around me. These made me to live an illusionary life of rejection, hate, and the inability to love myself wholeheartedly. Ever since I found the LIGHT, I feel LIGHTER. — Asaba talks about the 9 track EP project.

For her debut project, Asaba taps a wide array of some big names known for dishing out sensational hits songs as they join her on this special project. They include Mr Leo in track 5 for the song “Charger”, LOCKO in track 6 for “Dilemma”, Kameni on track 7 for the song “One Love” and rappers Mic Monsta in track 8 titled “Les Doights” as well as Cleo Grae on the ninth track “Eyes on the Prize”.
