From Vibes to Vision: Soundtracks Energizing UPG’s Sustainability Leadership

Music serves as a universal language, transcending boundaries and connecting hearts. United People Global (UPG) harnesses this unifying power to inspire its leaders and drive meaningful change. As a global movement dedicated to empowering citizen leaders, UPG blends creativity with purpose, using music as a core element of its transformative programs.

At the foundation of UPG’s approach lie the Four Pillars: Awareness, Belief, Collaboration, and Community—a framework designed to inspire action and foster impactful leadership.

UPG Sustainability Leadership Program: Learning and Leading

The UPG Sustainability Leadership Program offers a unique opportunity for participants to gain knowledge, skills, and global connections. Bringing together change makers from diverse cultures, the program is a hub for innovation and leadership in sustainable development.

Among its highlights is a focus on storytelling as a leadership tool, with mentors like singer-songwriter Judith Edelman and Adejoke Babington Ashaye weaving music into sessions on advocacy, peace, and security. But the program’s embrace of music doesn’t stop there—it also includes a specially curated soundtrack to guide participants on their leadership journey.

The UPG Official Soundtrack: A Global Playlist

Each year, UPG curates a unique playlist to inspire and motivate its leaders. The UPG Official Soundtrack for the Class of 2025, curated by UPG President Yemi Babington Ashaye, features 36 tracks that reflect global diversity, resilience, and unity.
