The Super Falcons of Nigeria defeat The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon 0 – 1 this evening at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco .

This encounter was the Quater Finals of the AWCON 2022 & the winner was not only to qualify for the semi finals of the competition but also to qualify for the next World Cup

A 2nd half header by Rasheedat Ajibade was enough to give Nigeria the victory even though Cameroon in the latter stages of the match dominated thanks to the entries of players like Rose Mbella & Fatimatou Artouyap .

Nigeria qualifies for the Semi Finals of the AWCON 2022 & for the next World Cup.

Nigeria proved today that our Indomitable Lionesses still have alot of work to do in order to compete with the best teams in Africa .
