Magasco’s concert at the Yaounde multi-purpose sports complex is among the most anticipated shows for this festive month of December. The mobilization by stakeholders of entertainment in Cameroon such as music artistes Wax Dey who is offering a good number of free tickets,  famous Cameroonian blogger Victor Kange of 237showbiz too has spear-headed a campaign aimed at offering a significant number of tickets for the said concert and also Cameroonian culture analyst Norbert “Tino” Foy through his platform PoiseSocial is offering two VIP tickets for the concert to the winner and runner-up of the Poise pidgin-english competition just to name a few. A lot of people have sworn on their lives that they will live to see that concert be a resounding success. But question marks are being raised day in day out as concerns the ability of the “Wule Bang bang” hit maker to shut down a concert at the Yaounde multi-purpose complex. Several reasons why these question marks are being raised have been proposed and just two days ago they mainly comprised of poor press by Empire Company which is the label the Magasco is signed to and the MTN concert organized at the same venue the day before Magasco’s show, with headlining artistes being French afrotrap star Niska. Well, another controversial event by Yoomee scheduled to hold on the same day as that of Magasco’s at parcours vita, Douala has just been made public. This concert will star major Cameroonian urban acts such as Salatiel, Mr Leo, Blaise B, Tenor and Dynastie Le Tigre. At a time when a lot of things seem to be choking the smooth run of Magasco’s 22nd December concert, does this event scheduled in Douala at the same time with Magasco’s concert pose a threat to the Bamenda Golden Boy shutting down his concert?
