Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji popularly known as Libianca is a 22 year old Cameroonian/American artist whose rise to fame is worth studying in numerous classrooms .
The singer rose to fame with the song “People” which was released on the 6th of December 2022.
The song debuted at No. 2 on the US Billboard Afrobeats chart, at No. 1 in UK Afrobeats chart, peaked at No. 2 in UK Official chart, and received notorious attention on social media.  To add to these accomplishments , Libianca remixed this song with some of Nigeria’s finest artists in Arya Starr & Omah Lay which made the original song even more popular in the mainstream.
Since the release of this song , It’s safe to say that Libianca from Bamenda has shattered every record there is as a Cameroonian artist and broken every barrier one could think it’s impossible to break.
