Born October 14, 1990, the rapper and Afrobeats artiste hails from the Northwest Region of Cameroon precisely from a small town of Bamenda-Bambui. Kiflex grew up in Bambui, he faced a challenging childhood but excelled academically, earning a scholarship that supported his education through primary school. At the age of 7, Kiflex dreamt of becoming a professional basketball player but his aspirations were cut short in 2012 due to a severe knee injury. Rather than being defined by this setback, Kilian pivoted towards personal growth and self-improvement, taking on various jobs such as working in stone pits, bricklaying, and selling food items to support himself.
The enthusiastic Kiflex pursued higher education at CCAST Bambili and the National Polytechnic Bamenda in Cameroon. His academic journey continued abroad at ATHENA Career Academy in Toledo, Ohio, and Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois.
