The Seleçao of Brazil will face the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in their final game in Group G

Given that Brazil has already qualified for the next round, there is little to play for in their perspective and as such, it is widely reported that Brazil will start a weaker team than usual made up of bench players who are looking to stake a claim in the official starting 11

In a few lines, we are going to look at each player and their performance level .

Dani Alves:

A veteran right back who was called up by Tite due to his leadership and experience. He currently plays for Pumas in Mexico and though he is one of the greatest right backs to ever play the game, he is less of a threat than he used to be because of his age . At 39, he is arguably slower than before and as such this could be a weak link our Lions exploit

Alex Telles:

Telles plays for Manchester United and is currently on loan at Sevilla. The Left back is an above average one with a great talent for crossing the ball. The Indomitable Lions will have to be close him down so as not to give him enough space to deliver a cross into the box.

Bremer:

A Juventus centerback who was named best serie A defender last year. This should tell you how good he is as Bremer can be a wall in defense and it will take alot to bypass him

Antony:

Antony is a quick and skillful Manchester United winger who will love to disturb the Cameroon defence with his quickness and dribbling ability. On his day, he can be a very difficult winger to press.

Bruno Guimaraes:

A Defensive midfielder who plays for Newcastle in England. The way he reads the game is impressive at a young age but he shouldn’t be much of a threat as he prefers a pass than to score

Fabinho:

Fabinho is arguably one of the best defensive midfielders in the world . He plays for Liverpool and has alot of big game experience. If he plays, it will be difficult for the Lions of Cameroon to stop him from showing his quality

Everton Ribeiro :

Everton Ribeiro is an attacking midfielder from Flamengo,Brazil. Head Coach Tite puts alot of trust in him and will be hoping for him to repay that trust with a brilliant performance against Cameroon

Gabriel Martinelli:

The Arsenal forward is one very fast winger who has an eye for goal. He is arguably one of the most dangerous players on the Brazil bench and can change a match on his own .

Pedro:

Pedro is a clinical forward with excellent finishing who still plays for Flamengo,Brazil. Our defenders will need to be at their best level to stop him from scoring because if given a chance, he won’t hesitate to punish Cameroon

Rodrygo:

Real Madrid’s football prince has already proven countless times how good he is on the wing. His intelligence and finishing will have to be shut down in case the Indomitable Lions don’t want to concede a goal

Gabriel Jesus:

Gabriel Jesus is a well known Arsenal forward with alot of quality . If jesus is not scoring, he is assisting a goal . He is one of the most dangerous players on Brazil’s bench and Cameroon should mark him if he starts this match

Weverton:

Weverton is the 3rd Goalkeeper in the Brazil National Team .A goalkeeper who plays for Palmeiras,Brazil and has very good reflexes . Luckily, he is not as good as Allison or Ederson and so it should be easier for the Indomitable Lions to score against him than if Allison was the one to start

So there you have it, all brazil players who can likely start against Cameroon on Friday. Which player are you most worried of from this list ?
