Rapper Aj Bahboy Allegedly Abandons Record Label, Relocates to Singapore for Studies

Cameroonian rapper AJ Bahboy has reportedly walked away from his recording contract with Sa Majesté and relocated to Singapore to further his education.
According to verified reports, the rapper allegedly left the country without formally informing his record label. The label only became aware of his relocation after AJ Bahboy sent WhatsApp messages apologizing for the situation, explaining that while he wants to continue pursuing music, his family has insisted that he focuses on his studies.

Sources indicate that AJ Bahboy still has nearly three years remaining on his contract with Sa Majeste. With the artist currently based in Singapore, concerns have been raised about the practicality of promoting and pushing his music while he remains on the other side of the globe.

AJ Bahboy rose to prominence in 2023 following the release of his debut single Real Life, produced by Dijay Karl and directed by Dr Nkeng Stephens. The official music video also featured cameo appearances from rapper Mic Monsta and Cameroonian footballer Fai Collins.

As of now, neither AJ Bahboy nor Sa Majeste has released an official statement clarifying the future of their contractual relationship, leaving fans and industry observers eager for further developments.
