Coton Sport Clinches 17th Cameroon Title: Cashes Out 50 Million of Prize Money

The MTN Elite One Season ended yesterday Sunday 3rd of July 2022 in Garoua in the Northern Region of Cameroon following Coton Sport of Garoua’s victory over rivals Eding Sports during the finals of the championship of MTN Elite One Season.

The match resulted to a penalty shootout after Eding Sports goal was canceled by Kaiba in the 91st minute of play. The penalty shootout saw Coton Sport emerged victorious with an outstanding record of winning the title for the 17th time. Coton Sport of Garoua’s captain Souaibou Marou dedicated the victory to late footballer Marc Vivien-Foe during yesterday’s celebrations.

It should be noted that Coton Sport of Garoua will cash out a whooping 50.000.000 CFA of prize money as promised by FECAFOOT president Samuel Eto’o and delegation.
