The Senegalese-American removed the video from his YouTube channel. Released in 2016, co-written and co-produced by Jovi under the pseudonym “Le Monstre” the song “Shine The Light” also had contributions from fellow New Bell Music label mate Reniss and Cameroonian singer Daddy Black.

The song “Shine The Light” was influenced by African Gospel and possesses the African sound as well as a fusion of old-school sound blended with futuristic accents. It is unclear why the 47 year old Konvict Music boss took down the video from his YouTube channel given that it is one of the very first songs co-produced and co-written by an African artiste for the Konvict Music head honcho.

For those new to these two developments, Jovi having a song with Akon and it being removed from YouTube before listening to it, thanks to piracy, the song is available on other YouTube channels in it’s audio format.
