Libianca WINS 2023 BET AWARD FOR VIEWERS CHOICE: BEST NEW INTERNATIONAL ACT

Cameroonian singer Libianca has won the 2023 BET Award Category for Viewers Choice: Best New International Act.

The 2023 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards was held on Sunday 25, June 2023 at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. Popular singer Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji popularly known as Libianca became the first Cameroonian artiste to win a BET Award. She emerged victorious in the category of Viewers Choice: Best New International Act with her global hit song entitled “People” beating the likes of Nigeria’s Asake and Ghana’ Camidoh. Other nominees include; Flo (UK), Maureen (France), MC, Ryan SP (Brazil), Pabi Cooper (South Africa), Raye (UK) and Werenoi (France)

The BET AWARDS are awarded yearly to celebrate Africans and African Americans that have been exceptional in music, acting, sports and other sectors of entertainment. Receiving her award, Libianca dedicated the prestigious price to God almighty, Mama, Martin, Ashley, Westside Creative and lastly her supporters.

Prior to her BET award, Libianca just released a brand new single titled “JAH”. The success of her global hit single is the reason she now has a BET in her shelf.
