On March 22nd Cameroon was blessed to Have Popular TV channel BoilerRoom Host some of It’s stars on an exclusive Live Show in Douala, Cameroon. Cameroon was officially the second stop of a four-city True Music Africa tour organized in Partnership with Ballantine‘s with the First Stop being in Cape Town, South Africa.
This new series which is new to many continues to tell the story of the underground scenes blossoming all across the continent , bringing you the best sounds from the afro-trap, rap and R&B worlds to Douala.
True Music Africa builds a platform to spotlight some of the progressive talent coming from four African cities all steeped in rich musical heritage. Their aim is to showcase each country’s pioneering artists that are doing it for themselves; and broadcasting them worldwide, an opportunity maybe some of them haven’t yet had.
On March 22nd it was the turn of Cameroon, known for its super rich culture and a home to Some of the Best Music artists in Africa and the World.
On the first edition which proved to be a Success, Some of Cameroon’s finest acts making waves such as ; Locko, Askia, Boy TAG, Magasco, DJ Labastille Premier & Dj Cyrius Black delivered a fantastic performance with a very responsive audience.
