Eta Ejob Aka Young Holiday is one of those young Cameroonian rappers to watch out for, he is a specialist in conscientious lyrics and his punch lines are uniquely captivating. Discover him today as he has never been presented before in 5 Things You Did Not Know About Young Holiday.

1. He Used To Dance: Apart from rap, Young Holiday also tried his hands to dancing in his freshman year at the university of Buea. He integrated the 21C dance crew with Ko-C, but his dancing career was short-lived as it ended by second year.

2. He Is A Football Enthusiast: Back in his University days, the rapper exhibited extraordinary skills in the sporting domain, but his love for football overshadowed that of all other disciplines and he ended up in the football team. Probably if he wasn’t into music, he might have just helped qualify the Cameroonian National Team for the ongoing World Cup in Russia.

3. Loves RnB: The author of the HoliWeek EP loves listening to rhythms and blues despite choosing rap as his fiefdom, his favorite singer is Beyonce , whose voice and messages appeal to him.

4. He Fear Swimming: Strange as it maybe, the rapper who doesn’t fear calling out the ills of society, fears swimming, his fear is so great that it has kept him away from the pool for his entire lifetime. Strange isn’t it? Well, we all have our little fears.

5. He Doesn’t Go To Church: Given the thought provoking nature of his music, a lot of people refer to him as a gospel artist, which he does identify to from time to time because his musical motivation is the truth. But he isn’t a member of any church or religion; he reads the bible but yet doesn’t identify with any church.

Young Holiday recently worked with Wan Shey on the track “Status Update 2”, be sure to check it out and join us next Monday when we discover another one of our own entertainers.

Catch the youngster live on the Crtv tomorrow 19th June on the program Hello as from 7AM

and on Canal 2 English at 1:30PM
