Cameroonian Makossa Meets Nigerian Afrobeats. Wax dey signed to Lolhiphop records just released the video of his song Saka Makossa featuring Nigeria’s Pop Queen Yemi Alade well known for her hit song “Johnny.” Saka Makossa directly translated as Dance Makossa is a song having a tuneful blend of Afrobeats and typical Cameroonian Makossa. This melodious song is one of the outstanding songs off his impending album 360Degrees which is out now on itunes. Makossa is a prominent style of music by the Douala individuals of Cameroon and the melody is intended to highlight the impact of the class in today’s universal popular music. Saka Makossa shows up at first glance as a vain melody around two Artists who need to have a great time, and hotshot at the same time. The musical instrumental played at the beginning is just amazing and decent. The change of pace in tempo is great. I was caught by surprise and it threw me off. The melody of the song is what keeps the performance alright. Saka Makossa was initially recorded in 2014, however the video was released on 3rd of june 2016, about 1 year after the audio release. This is African music in your earbuds.
