The year 2020 will always be remembered for the covid-19 outburst and pandemic that made the whole world pause for a while. Despite these tough times, we still had our Cameroonian artistes blow up our speakers with smashing hit songs and the music scene welcomed some new faces in the game.

One of the newbies Darina Victry blessed our speakers with her debut single “Laisse Moi T’aimer” produced by I.V.O. The song was the most viewed Cameroonian song on YouTube in 2020 with over 27M views.

Starfish Entertainment songbird ASABA also made her presence felt with two incredible releases accompanied with clean visuals for the songs “Yele and Big Dreams” ASABA is fast becoming a force to reckon with. We can’t wait to see what surprises she has for the year 2021.

Akumba Music songstress Rinyu is one of the main artistes on the rise right now. She has given us a good number of hits to light up any party. The year 2020, she delivered us smashing singles like “Feeling You” featuring Power House Entertainment head honcho Ko-c, she also dropped “Dreamy Eyes”, Friendzone and Cover Me. Rinyu is currently working on her debut album set to drop soon.

Now that’s enough talk of the ladies, on to the other gender, 2020 saw and felt the presence of Happy and his hit single “Tchapeu Tchapeu” not only did it hit, it was one of the fans favorite.

Lastly, the “Boy from NSO” Witty Minstrel released his popular hit tune “Be Proud” mid of 2020 and later a remix with Magasco, Kameni, AWU, Mr Leo, Gasha and Vernyuy Tina.
