This definitely has been the question on the minds of fans of Cameroonian rap music. The once sensational rap goddess who had her breakthrough with the song “Depuis Quand“ has left her fans wondering what is going on. She has been silent for more than a year.

Nji Bihmiminey Nelly who hails from the North West region of Cameroon but raised in Douala is one of few Cameroonian female rappers we have in the country. She is famous for dropping songs with fascinating punch lines and also for her collaborations with fellow rapper Young Time who happens to be her boyfriend. Once a member of the Ontantik Ent crew, Mihney after a while went mute in the music scene and for some time now no one has heard from her.  Well I would say wonder no more. Mihney Nelly in her own words has been “rebranding”. She went underground to rediscover herself and her sound. To be able to provide her fans 100% of what she is capable of.

It would also interest you to know that Mihney has been signed under Eben Entertainment a record label based in Gabon. She has a lot of projects coming our way. In fact from what we gathered, Mihney has recorded so many tracks she can drop even two albums. Even more interesting is the fact that this year, Mihney and her new label plan to drop lots of visuals for her already prepared songs. This should come as great news to her fans in particular and music fans in general.

All in all, We seriously anticipate the coming back of a hip hop slayer. We wish her luck in her new path and expect more projects from that direction.
