Sah Muhamed Umaru, 21, known professionally as King Luca joins Akumba Music for an artiste development, music production, distribution and image management record deal for the next 7 years.
The youngster who doubles as a nursing student hails from the Northwest Region of Cameroon precisely from Nso and was discovered by Akumba Music after dropping an eyebrow raising verse on the Open Verse Challenge on Elisha K’s “Joana”. According to the label, the singer’ verse was so captivating it pushed the label to do a remix of the song which features in Elisha K’s forthcoming EP “Days of Elisha Epistle II”.
Akumba Music believes in the originality, lyrical prowess and delivery quality and it is what has earned the “Wonder Kid” a spot in the label where legacies are created.
We shall be listening to King Luca for the very first time on July 12, 2024 on the project Days of Elisha Epistle II on the song “Joana Remix”
