The song was inspired by the true story of a Cameroonian girl who traveled to Kuwait in search of a better life but later became a victim of enslavement and domestic violence. The song also paints the picture about the aftermath of war and how it can destroy a family. It also draws inspiration from the recent police violence happening all over the world especially the USA. “FREE” was written and produced by Melcube and features the amazing Congolese singer Herve Slim, recorded in Bangkok,Thailand.
