The Cocowols International Fashion Festival theme song is out. Titled ‘Taking Over’, the track is composed and performed by LesLine.
LesLine is a 21-year-old Cameroonian Afro Jazz artist signed to Niki Heat Entertainment. She was a semi-finalist on season one of The Voice Afrique Francophone and her electrifying rendition of Moni Bile’s ‘Osi Tapa Lambo Lam’ during the blind auditions is often mentioned amongst the best ever.
“ I grew up in Limbe and feel honored to have been asked to do this song. I look forward to performing it live in front of my city” said LesLine. The Festival is scheduled for May 10th to 12th 2018 in Limbe, Cameroon. LesLine won the 2017 Camer Green Music competition and currently serves as spokesperson for Camer Green and the United Nations Environment Programme’s Music for the Environment initiative in Cameroon.
