Cameroonian star, Wax Dey, has released the visuals for his first French song, Faut Pas Compliquer,
directed by renowned Paris-based music video director, Max Ngassa. On the song, Wax Dey, explores the sensual Caribbean rhythm Zouk-love, otherwise known as Kizomba, and sings in a mixture of French and English. This is the first release from the musician and activist since he won the award for Best Male Artist in Central Africa at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) in Lagos on 6 November 2016. “Faut Pas Compliquer” can be loosely translated as ‘Let go’. It portrays a suave young man relentlessly chasing a reluctant love interest, and spotlights the challenges of young, successful city women who find it hard to identify true love. His love interest is played by popular TV presenter and businesswoman, Laura Dave. The script is based on a true story. watch, download and leave your comments below.
