Kareyce Fotso et la musique ; une harmonie parfaite!!

Pour les adeptes de musique World et folklorique, ce nom ne passe pas inaperçu. Kareyce Fotso est une Camerounaise née en pays Bamileke qui a grandi au milieu des Beti. Elle développé une passion pour la musique depuis son enfance, et c’est lancé officiellement en 2000. Elle a fait d’innombrables spectacles à ces débuts à Yaoundé, puis dans des pays comme le Japon et le Gabon, et dans des groupes tel que Korongo Jam qu’elle a rejoint en 2001.

Kareyce Fotso c’est vite faite une image et un nom sur l’échelle mondiale.

En 2009, elle sort officiellement son premier album intitulé Mulato, qui attire une audience spectaculaire, au Cameroun et sur l’échelle mondiale. Puis en 2010, elle sort son deuxième album Kwegne et après ; Mokte.

Avec ces albums, elle fut une solicitude phenomenal. Des titres comme; Mayole, Lomdieu, Pacler-Francais , Soa et plus encore ont eu l’effet des frissons auprès de ses fans.

Munie d’une guitare, une voix douce, paisible et rauque à la fois, des tenues africaines, une sourire plein le visage, c’est dans une ambiance euphorique que ce déroulent les concerts de Kareyce Fotso. La femme accomplie qu’elle est, fait des spectacles pour la plupart des fois dans une ambiance intime avec ses fans. En passant par le jazz, le soul, les bleus, le mengambeu, elle fait de la musique africaine consommable par tous ! Ceux qui on déjà assisté à l’un de ses concerts vous dirons qu’elle porte un intérêt particulier à transmettre des émotions de façon gracieuse et authentique. Elle accompagne bon nombre de ses chansons avec d’autres instruments comme la Sanza, les tambours en bois et le ntem.

Elle est fait la fierté de tout un pays, un monument culturel pour certains, et un mentor pour plusieurs, et un modèle à suivre non seulement pour la musicienne camerounaise, mais pour la femme africaine…
