Lo’r Drops Her First Freestyle As An Independent Artiste

Former New Bell Music now independent artiste L’or finally makes the fans get a feel of her potentials and versatility. The female singer, rapper who only featured in Pascal’s Manka’a and Tata Paul’s ICI videos sets the bar high as she spits bars like a furious dragon in her Method J produced freestyle directed by Tatapong Beyala.

It is unarguable that New Bell Music artistes work only within themselves from production to videos. L’ors case looks different as she seems to have created her own YouTube channel and is starting her solo career.

Also, her freestyle was produced by an outsider and we all know Tatapong Beyala is not a New Bell Music director. So!

Is New Bell Music Getting Less Attention In 2018 From Their Releases?

The year 2017 was declared by most fans and music lovers to be Alpha Better Records year in the Cameroonian music scene due to the projects, releases, tours and buzz the label made in 365 days. Apart from the fans, other Record Labels also approved this assertion although their declarations were made in closed doors. The advent of 2018, a new year and fresh start for everyone saw one of Cameroon’s most prolific labels New Bell Music dropping singles, videos and 2 EPs from Reniss and Tata but it seems thus like the label has been getting less attention this year from its releases.

Why do we say so? New Bell Music this year seems to be the only label that has released more singles, an EP with videos than any other label at the moment, yet they’re still to fully capture the attention of the fans, gain new ones and revive the lost ones as well. What could really be the label’s problem? A lot of fans who actually support these artistes have complained about their promotion strategies, music video quality etc. It’s literally very difficult for their songs to reach ground level and the suburbs with little or no promo, both online and off site.

It is worthy to note that, this label has one of the best rappers, Tata, producers, sound engineer, in the name of Jovi, directors Ndukong and female singer Reniss not forgetting Rachel Burks and L’or in the entire nation. Their manager Sulljah Man is also an outstanding individual. Unfortunately, the fans have been expecting more than the label is giving out. Some I spoke to have lost interest. Others still believe and hold on tight. Well we hope they catch back their feelings and pay attention to their favorite label.

Rome they say wasn’t built in a day, but for an old broom like New Bell Music, it shouldn’t be Rome but paradise today.

Is New Bell Music Paying Less Attention To L’or? Fans Worry

L’or is a singer, songwriter and talented guitarist who captured the hearts of many of her fans when she recorded two of her verses on Pascal Yung King (Former New Bell Music Rapper’s) song Manka’a and I No Kam Fine. She also featured on Tata’s single IÇI Ever since then,the fans have been waiting patiently to hear from her. Worried fans are beginning to think that the label seems to be paying less attention to her. Others are saying she’s just being lazy and needs to work more.

Apart from featuring in Reniss‘ video Pilon and Jovi’s Mongshung and 20BA videos as an actress and a vixen, there has been no signs of the singer doing her own thing. No update on her social media platforms for her fans to know what she has been up to. Rumour has it that she stopped singing a while ago. However, these rumours seem to be false as she can still be seen in the label’s official website www.newbellmusic.com under the sub menu for artistes.

Can she be termed the Black Sheep of the group? Why has she been silent all this while? Fans keep asking. We hope she’s working on her EP as it is clearly stated on her info on the website although the specific year or time wasn’t mentioned.

Before we conclude, bare it in mind that New Bell Music have their own way of doing things, they’ll hardly hype or create much awareness whenever they are about to release a new project. Call it their own strategy or label policy. We just hope to hear from L’or anytime soon. You’ll agree she’s too talented to be silent this long.

You might think this chant is the chorus to the song, well its bigger than that. 237showbiz.com is actually saying a big welcome back into the game to NewBellMusic’s Contri Boy as he’s fondly called. After a very long period of absence, many fans began to wonder if actually the rapper was still in the game. Well he chose a ”Contri Friday” to prepare a massive comeback. In this single titled ”Içi” featuring his label mate Lor, many of gis fans have asked me to warn him never to stay mute and starve them for this long.

News: New Bell Music signs 2 new Artists

One of Cameroon’s most established labels New Bell Music welcome two new artiste( Lor & Dj Mathematic) to their Empire. Lor who featured on Pascal’s Manka’a remix and I no kam fine used the opportunity as a means to introduce herself musically into the ever growing Cameroonian music industry. Born and raised in Yaounde, this deal officially opens a new and very challenging task in her career, which is feeding the public with quality music. On the other hand Dj Mathematic is a DJ and music producer from Angola who lives in Lausanne. His expertise in several musical genres such as : Hip Hop, Electro, Pop music and contemporary Afro beats will help improve the quality of music being churned out from the label. 2017 looks very promising.

Pascal has been on top of his game since his debut EP, gaining wide admiration from music fans, finally he makes an exciting visual presentation in his new music video “Manka’a” .
