So bout Otang. Well she got fooled by the masses that acclaimed her with the dropping of her freestyle video. If kamer music fans can’t attend a concert for free cuz it will still entail them paying transport fare, what did they expect the turn out putting an EP at 10k would be.
Just free styling proves no worth of being great in the long that will convince me to pay 10K for an EP. We needed more of her works out there before the real business start. Comparing her to Leo, I bet if he had put his “Ego better” EP at 5K seff, he wudda had it hot from fans whose back pocket no fey high. Massa… Most youths are average level pipo for kamer. Data din cheap. Staying online 24/7 isn’t a factor to determine how high back pocket dey. 3 square meals a day di pass even some men wey di work, then na to loss 10K for 6 songs wey they go dowam?.
Her team had to weigh the stakes mehn. And for real it has affected her relevance to an extent.
And saying they put price at 10k because they had to give half for charity, I think they actually doubled it so they have their share 100%. Cuz 5K for be likely accepted by most. But 10K?? Naa… Cmon.
Anyways, the way forward would be for them to release videos of at least 2 tracks off that EP. Engage in promo and get her fans back on track.

I saw and loved the speed she was using to make her present count but truly dat price was something I couldn’t condole with. U wanted to support her and I thought a young and immature talent needs the support to blow but when u price an epp of an eleven years old girl whose lyrical strength is till in the embrayo stage u turn to scare potential fans away. MONSTA just released a complete album with 17tracks and he is gvx it out for 2500frs even Jovi who is undisputable Mboko god has never priced a single track for 2000. I mean is dat track the key to heaven?
